During our favorite shows or just watching television commercials are always there trying to sell something. Most of the commercials that appear on television are about fast food chains. Whether is introducing a new burger or showing a way to eat healthy all these fast food commercials have something in common. The actors in these commercials are always different from the people who are really working there.
In any fast food commercial the actors they show to sell their food is always white people. The people in the cash register are white and even the cooks are white but is that what one sees when they really get there. When somebody goes to buy food in these fast food chains the people working there are mostly minorities and no white people like the commercial says. There never is a commercial showing a minority in the cash register or working in the back but why wouldn’t they when they are the ones working that fast food place.
These minorities are not to be shown in commercials because the owners of the fast food chains do not want to let America see that minorities are working most of these places. The owners probably think that white people will sell their product and that is why they hire the white actors. There is never a hispanic actor even for El Pollo Loco when the fast food name is in spanish or an Asian actor for Panda Express when it is Asian food. This is always happening its just that people do not realize it but should. From now on there should be a change and minorities should be in more fast food commercials because they are the ones who really work there.
